Kahnawake Gaming Commission
Kahnawake was one of the first online gambling jurisdictions in the world. The Kahnawake Gaming Commission recognized the opportunities afforded by the interactive gaming industry and for over 11 years the Commission has been continuously licensing and regulating a wide range of interactive gaming sites via the Kahnawake gambling licensing authority.
The commission provides three types of online gambling Licenses; an Interactive Gaming License, a Client Provider Authorization, and a Key Person License. With an Interactive Gaming License you are allowed to operate a co-location facility that provides Internet services to Authorized Client Providers. Authorized Client Providers are entitled to conduct online gaming from the co-location facility that is owned and operated by the Interactive Gaming License holder and a Key Person License is granted to people who are in a managerial position at the entity that holds the Client Provider Authorization. The application fee for an Interactive Gaming License and a Client Provider Authorization is $25,000 and for a key Person Licensing is $5,000.
