Gold Flower! It's a
very popular Chinese card-game for six players.
You play it with a standard deck consisting
of 52 cards with the suits spades, hearts,
clubs and diamonds.
The question remains,
does courage overcome wisdom in the game?
The reality of different psychological factors
becomes a contest among the game as one of
the characteristics. But,
how do you play Gold Flower?
- There are three
cards dealt to each player. The cards
will be received down as the other players
won't be able to view. Action will move
in counter clock wise rotation.
- Each player will review their cards,
a bet will take place and players will
decide to continue or fold.
- Any time a player raises they must increase the previous bet. A player can't bet more
than the maximum allowed.
- If a player folds, they will lose all
bets contributed to that hand.
- Leopard! Three of a kind (4c 4s 4d).
- Special! Three cards with no matching
suites and no matching pairs (2c 3s 4d).
- Random! Two cards of same suite and
no matching pairs (2c 3c 5s).
The basic scale of comparing poker-hands with each other is:
Special < Random < One Pair < Straight sequence < Flush < Straight flush < Leopard
